When the first edition of Pikslaverk took place last year, there was a lot of uncertainty related to the Icelandic currency, and the local organisers had to cope in a situation where many basic things (such as  international money transfers) had suddenly become very difficult or impossible.

This time the festival is taking place in the shadow of a volcano ash cloud, almost literally so... This edition is organised in collaboration with Raflost - Icelandic Festival of Electronic Arts.
